Scuba Diver Sites Indonesaia - Lombok
Lombok Island is located to the east of Bali Island. Offers diving for all experience level. Three small islands, surrounded by coral, The Gilis, off Lombok's west coast, are fast becoming one of her main draw cards. 
Most of the diving take place at the Gili Trawangan to the North west of Lombok however there are a number of other location around the island like Sanggigi beach in the east side or Blongas Bay in the south side. Through the Lombok strait between Lombok and Bali flows the Indonesian Throughflow, a massive flow of water that passes from the Pacific to the Indian Ocean.
The rewarding result is a rich underwater biodiversity and during certain times of the year also large fish like sharks, eagle rays, turtles and manta rays come and visit the reefs. There is also the chance to see schooling hammerheads at Blongas Bay.
East coast of Gili Trawangan. The dive start in shallow water and follow the slope which has terraces that get gradually deeper to a plateau on about 24 m. Coral not very interesting but good chance to see white tip and black tip sharks, sometimes even gray reef shark and often turtles.

The Magnet
This is a pinnaclcle that lies in the open sea at 20-30 minutes by boat. Large waves crash on top of the rock and over it and the resulting surge can be felt even down to 20 meters! The large pelagic such as hammerheads, white tip sharks, mackerels and barracuda congregate here in large numbers. For experienced divers only!

Coral Garden
The dive is around two larger rocks with a series of smaller rocks which lie on sand. Lot’s of soft corals in yellow, orange and purple colors, some gorgonians and anemones. Nice nudibranchs and shrimps. Easy dive
